Who says actors are just meant for entertainment? Bollywood is a big part of the entertainment industry and the actors are no more seen merely as a bunch of good-looking, amusing people. This is because, these days actors keep themselves updated about what’s happening in the corporate world and are well aware about the tips that can help them run their entity perfectly if they wish to become an entrepreneur someday.

So, here we are with a list of top 3 Indian actresses serving as an idol for beginners who wish to excel in the art of entrepreneurship :

  1. Deepika Padukone

From a national level badminton player to modelling and then becoming the ruling actress of Bollywood, Deepika has achieved it all. Also, when it comes to starting her own business or becoming an entrepreneur, Deepika’s move towards launching her own brand is applaudable.

Her product line, ‘All About You’ is available exclusively on Myntra and it was Padukone’s first step into the entrepreneurial world.

On asking about her views on being an entrepreneur, she says, “As girls, we all have our own individual sense of dressing and style. And, for me, it has always been about feeling comfortable. I think designing gave me that creative opportunity to express what I like personally and it allowed me to make that available to girls who might have a similar taste.”

After coming up with a product line, she also led to the establishment of Live, Love, Laugh Foundation. A foundation that seeks to champion the cause of mental health in India, with a focus on depression in particular. This foundation was established, following Deepika’s depression at the peak of her career and now it is helping thousands of people like her in regaining their liveliness.

Similarly, after sometime, Deepika’s product line, All About You came up with an initiative, a campaign called #TereSaathTu. It is a reflection of Deepika’s vision. “I think a deeper understanding of this campaign is about everything that we go through in our lives. Especially, in complicated or tough situations, you may have people around, who will support and encourage you, but eventually, it is only you who can help yourself through certain experiences, and find that strength from within,” she explains.
